Installation Guide for Pivot Joint V2

Tapping Requirements:

• M8 tapping is required in the Centre hole at the end of the extrusion.
• If connecting two profiles, both ends must be tapped for secure fastening.

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Extrusion – Ensure the 40mm Series T-slot Extrusion is M8 tapped at the required ends.
2. Position – Place the pivot joint onto the 40mm profile, ensuring the alignment tabs fit securely into the profile’s slots.
3. Insert M8 Bolts – Align the holes and insert the M8 Bolts 16mm through the mounting points.
4. Secure Fasteners – Tighten the bolts evenly with a hex key or wrench to lock the joint in place.
5. Adjust Movement – Ensure smooth 45° rotation before final tightening.
6. Final Check – Verify the joint is stable, and all bolts are firmly secured
